- Combines online and 面对面的 instruction. Students may participate in different ways: online - synchronous, online - asynchronous, 面对面的, or as a flexible learner (student has a degree of choice as to how they participate each week).
- Flex
- Flex courses may provide students with the opportunity to meet in-person on campus, on the synchronous days and times already scheduled, if 条件允许.
- 估算credits
- 估算credits are developmental courses for students who need to prepare themselves for college-level work. They count toward financial aid requirements but do not count toward earned college credits or GPA.

- Classes are taught live from one campus location and broadcast to one or more additional campus locations. Cameras and microphones at all sites allow faculty and learners to see and talk with each other.
Students will gain practical experience participating in a minimum of 45 hours of supervised work through an organization, 机构, or hospital providing direct support services for clients. Students will apply the skills they have learned in service navigation and referral, 网络, 团队合作, 道德, and communication skills. Students will further learn how to advocate for individuals and families so that clients can live fulfilled lives integrated into the community. 学生, faculty coordinator, and site supervisor will work together to create an appropriate learning experience for the student, which also includes a weekly seminar. 最后, the student will create a professional portfolio revolving around National Alliance of Direct 支持 Professionals standards. Students will learn the fundamental skills involved in being a Direct 支持 Professional, including helping clients with their physical, 社会, and daily living needs, medication management, 和治疗方法. Additionally, students will learn and practice assessment, planning, and communication skills. Students will also be introduced to professional ethical standards such as client confidentiality and cultural competency.
